Why do we fear things that appear nearly human? 

Ubarae, a species of anthropomorphic mimics that live off the lifeforce of human beings, have hidden amongst their prey for millennia. Centuries ago, an uneasy truce was established between the two species, and to enforce this truce, The Organization was formed, a clandestine group with the mandate to monitor for dangerous incubi or succubi and remove threats to the peace.

Rayna Clay, an agent of the Organization, works to protect the people from these predators hidden within human society. As one of the few resistant to their powers, Ray helps to hold the line between humans and ubarae, for the good of both species. But when that final line of defense begins to fail, can Ray and her colleagues prevent a group of radicals from executing a plan that was years in the making, or will they shatter the delicate balance that has been established between the two species and end generations of tenuous peace?
